Founded by Jonathan Rochead & Lee Irvine, both skilled bricklayers with extensive industry knowledge, we combine hands-on craftsmanship with technical expertise, a principle that is central to our team's value.

The prospect of building your own home can be a daunting one. Finding and selecting a good and reliable builder is possibly the biggest decision. So it was with some trepidation that we went to meet Jono and Lee (Rochhead Irvine Construction) for the first time. We need not have worried. As a relatively new business they wanted to put the customer relationship, responsiveness and schedule as their priorities, and it turns out that they were true to their word.

Every building project will have its share of problems and issues and ours was no exception. However, whenever we raised a concern, or identified a potential problem, Jono and Lee responded immediately, discussed the issues with us and took action to fix the problem. They were always contactable, even after the build was complete. And despite the project running throughout the period when COVID was rife, with the consequent scarcity of certain materials, the build went pretty much to plan. We were able to move in just before Christmas, only a few days later than planned.

The result is a house that we love, having gone through a process which was a lot less stressful than it could have been. The trust that we built with Jono, Lee and their team, coupled with their customer focused attitude played a huge part in a successful outcome and so it was an easy decision to use them as the builders for our daughter’s house a few months later.
